Gingerbread…..Continued…..

Failure! I got a recipe from my fav site, Joy of Recipes, and this time it wasn’t very tasty. Not gingerbready enough, and the texture was dense. Also, they had a lemon glaze on it, which is a bit unusual to go with gingerbread. So, the gingerbread cake is lurking in the kitchen, probably feeling ignored, since most baked items last less than 24 hours around here. I really should dump it in the trash so we won’t eat it (’cause we will, even if it’s not that good). Oh, well, as my niece says. I’ll just have to try again!
