Christmas Lights and Krispy Kremes….

We packed into the car and toured a few of the residential areas in town last night, seeking the best Christmas light displays. We were not disappointed! Our favorites were Mill Creek Pond and a small residential area near Forrest Trails–WOW! These are the palacial homes of some of the wealthier doctors and professional people in town, and they do know how to decorate! Don’s mother, in particular, oohed and aahed non-stop, and practically gave us all whiplash as she pointed and urged us to ‘look over there!’, and ‘do you SEE that?!’. She had the best time, and helped us to enjoy it more, too. We stopped so I could snap some photos, two of which I have posted below. We also traveled to a nice area near Philbrook Museum, but were disappointed to find far fewer displays this year than in years past. We finished the evening with an assortment of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and milk. Yum! We will be doing another drive soon with the other parents and grandkids. Yea!
