Last minute everything….

Yesterday we spent the day cleaning closets and other places we save for last all the time. Finally! Sure feels good to open a door and not be crushed by the overflow of coats, shoes, and what-have-you. Had a heck of a time cleaning under the refrigerator, though. We have a Kenmore canister vacuum (which I LOVE), but the flat attachment isn’t long enough to get under the frig, so we had to improvise with a coat hanger wrapped in a paper towel…..we couldn’t move the frig because it’s so heavy it scars the floor. Today I will be cleaning the inside of the frig and the ones in the garage. I don’t know how everything gets so dirty! It’s not like we throw food and drink everywhere…..
I am leaving shortly to do some last-minute Christmas shopping. Want to get out before it gets more crowded. We don’t have a mass transit system here, so cars are a necessity to get to jobs and so forth. That results in a lot of cars!! And sometimes they are all on the road at the same time—whew!!
