I’m moving so fast right now, any unexpected thing might just stop me in my tracks! Going to have the grandbabies tonight for a couple of days, so that shortens my ‘make-ready’ time and I’m scurrying to get things done. Yes, I’ve known they were coming and I should have planned better, but things don’t always work out as we hope! I know that anything that doesn’t get done won’t ruin our holiday, so I’m not really stressing, thank goodness.

We took my daddy with us to look at Christmas lights last night. We found a home in a modest neighborhood that was absolutely spectacular! There wasn’t an inch of the front of the house or the front yard that wasn’t covered with lights and decorations. I will be adding a photo to this post later. It is on the light tour list from the newspaper, and well it should be! Two limousines full of lookers came by while we were there, and lots of folks were out of their cars, walking around to get a better view of all the yard ornamentation. A big thank you to the folks who went to all the trouble and expense to create something so outstanding! My dad enjoyed it very much, and repeated how he had never seen so many lights in one place in his life. Neither had we! Clark Griswald is alive and well in Oklahoma!

Putting goody bags together to deliver today before the kids come over, and have to trim my dad’s hair. He doesn’t have much, it’s pretty thin, but he insists on keeping it military short on the sides and longish on top. (He used to have a comb-over, ick!) Anyway, I try to just trim around his ears so he will keep it a bit longer, and we think he looks better.

Don has a sandwich made for me, so I’ll have lunch and finish my last minute stuff.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, surrounded by people you love. Merry Christmas!!!
