Sometimes I DO know what I’m talking about . . .

For two weeks I commented repeatedly to Don about Stein’s weird haircut, which my son told me had been done by ****, a semi-exclusive hairstylist in The Big City. I tried to like it, but it was a cross between a shaggy cut and a Mohawk, with odd splits and wisps of hair sprouting around the front of his head, and one really long piece falling in the middle of his forehead. If I had known better (and I think I DO), I would have called it a REALLY REALLY BAD HAIRCUT. And which way to brush the longer wisps? To be sure, Stein wasn’t the least bit concerned.

Turns out, it WAS a bad haircut. STEIN had taken the scissors to his hair while the babysitter wasn’t watching and had cut his $$$ hairstyle into shreds. Selfishly, I guess, I’m relieved that my judgment in this one area, anyway, is still sound, and that hair will grow. And he IS still VERY VERY cute!
Do you have a funny haircut story about the little ones in your life? Please share! I would love to hear them!
