I’m getting more than a little spoiled using my Photoshop actions to save time while I’m scrapping or working on photos for the blog! One of my favorites is my Rounded Corners Action. There’s a tutorial on the DeeDoo website for making rounded corners, and it’s nice to understand the process. But it’s oh, so much nicer to click a button and ‘whoosh, there it is’!

So I thought it might be nice to share this little time-saver with anyone who would like to download it. It is designed to work equally well on 72ppi and 300 ppi resolution photos and papers, because that is what I use. I have found that you will always get a nicer result, however, if you have sized the photo close to the final resolution and size that you want prior to running the Action. That way the corners will be cleaner and smoother than they would be if you ran the Action first, then resized. As with all of the DeeDoo Photoshop Actions, this one includes dialogue boxes to guide you along on how to use it. Remember, it’s not just for photos! Use it to make page and photo mattes and journaling cards, too.
