Jogging Tunes

There are so many bargains available these days on so many different things it’s difficult to make up my mind which one to spend money on first. It didn’t take me long to ask Don to ‘please’ go pick up a couple of these little MP3 players for us to use while walking on the treadmill. With our diet now entering its 7th week (yea!) it’s way past time we got serious about some aerobic exercise to hasten our results, and what better way to give us a little push in that direction than buying a new music toy?! Don bought me a little MP3 player five or six years ago, but it only held about two CD’s worth of tunes and you know that’s just not enough when you have a 45-minute walk ahead of you! Plus it was really a pain to upload to, and generally wasn’t too great. It has a permanent place in my electronics drawer (I can’t get rid of anything that was a gift!), but it won’t be used, ever, I’m sure.

This MP3 player should not be compared to an I-Pod, or anything of that complexity, nor is it even near that costly! These little babies were almost free! So I got mine charged up today and now I’m getting ready to rip some CD’s and then upload them to the little guy and see how it all works. I’ll report on my failure/success and how this player performs. Don and I figured it wasn’t much of an investment and they just might do the trick. We’ll see.
