This kit was certainly a labor of love and determination! Amid many delays and interruptions the little kit that wouldn’t let me forget about it is finally completed and in the store. The kit was purposely designed to allow you to create pages as formal or informal as you want. It includes five layered PSD storyboard templates and instructions on how to use them. The templates include matte backing for each photo opening; you can use a clipping mask and completely the cover the mattes, or you can size your photos to fit inside, leaving as much of the matte showing as you wish. All the stroke outlines are on one layer, and you can erase the ones you don’t want, or you can select and copy them to a new layer to move them around. The storyboard templates are a real timesaver! Plus, you can use as many or as few of the photo openings as you need for each layout.

One problem with a kit like this, and the storyboard templates in particular, is they take up a lot of memory. For that reason, I put all the strokes on the one layer, rather than individual layers. I haven’t found it difficult to work with, and I think you will agree.

This kit also includes more words and phrases than I want to remember creating! Sheesh, I thought I would never finish with them. But they add so much to a page when you are going for a unified look for an entire book. Plus they provide a cool way to organize your thoughts and photos quickly.

Oh, another thing. The papers can easily be recolored using your graphics software! So if you aren’t into the soft beige you can tint them the way YOU like them—to match the wedding, the bridesmaids gowns, or the location.
