We Are Dog People – But We Love Our Cats, Too

We are animal-poor at our house. Too many dogs (4) and too many cats (won’t tell you!). We love them all, but they are very different, as everyone knows. In spite of the food and vet bills, the poop cleaning and disposal, and the inevitable destroyed furniture, clothes, and on and on, our pets bring a lot of joy into our lives with their antics and their loyalty. Well, the dogs are loyal. I think. We’ve had our current cats for more than ten years, and during that time we’ve seen them do a lot of strange things. Since they are never allowed outside, they have lived longer, and healthier, lives than their outdoor cousins. They have also missed out on some potential adventures. But never let it be said that they haven’t been able to entertain themselves and us with plenty of indoor mayhem.
